My Story
James Reynolds serves as the secretary of the board of directors at Vets to Vets United, where he plays a vital role in ensuring smooth and effective communication within the board. James is committed to excellence and continuous improvement. With a background in communications, operations, training, business, and analytics, James brings a wealth of expertise to the organization.
The board secretary’s role isn’t simply notetaking, but rather information management. As board secretary, James is responsible for maintaining accurate records of board meetings, handling official correspondence, creating and maintaining kanban boards, overseeing membership lists, providing safekeeping of all contracts and records, and supporting the board in its decision-making processes. He is committed to fostering transparency and accountability within the organization, ensuring that the board operates efficiently and in the best interests of all stakeholders.
Prior to joining Vets to Vets United, James achieved significant milestones in his career, including rising from the rank of private first class to the rank of major in the U.S. Army. James holds undergraduate degrees in automation robotics and English. He holds a master’s degree in human relations. James continues to expand his knowledge through continuous learning and professional development opportunities, staying abreast of the latest trends and best practices.
