Michael Croft & Potato

In the Fall of 2025, Hawthorne & Wood lost a beloved member of our restaurant family, server Michael Croft. Michael was a Marine Corps veteran who served several tours of duty. In his post-military service life, Michael's greatest passion was training vulnerable rescue dogs to be companions to vulnerable veterans. His own dog, Potato, was his constant and faithful sidekick. We at Hawthorne & Wood couldn't be more proud to support an organization that so perfectly carries out the work Michael loved most. He is greatly missed, but he leaves behind a legacy of hope.
