My Story

Wanda Harvey Evans was born and raised in Apex, NC.  After a 17 year and 8 months as a serviceman she retired from the U.S. Army as an logistical specialist in 2020. Her military awards include the National Defense Service Medal and Humanity Service Medal.


Wanda joined the Vets to Vets family in 2019 for PTSD and has thrived by volunteering at events; she is also a Vets to Vets board member. She is married to her husband Roosevelt and they have three children.
