An organization created by people with pain for people with pain, the U.S. Pain Foundation recognizes and validates the challenges more than 51.6 million Americans endure every day.

The INvisible Project magazine, which is run through the U.S. Pain Foundation, highlights stories and photos from real people about their day-to-day lives.

The issues, which began covering chronic pain generally, now focus on a specific theme, ranging from pediatric pain to medical cannabis to migraine disease. Dr. Morris' article was featured in the "Veterans Edition."
